Housing Coordinator
Northland School Division is currently accepting applications for the position of Housing Coordinator. We are looking for a dedicated individual with excellent customer service skills to manage our divisional housing. Major responsibilities include:
● Collaborate with school administrators and the Secretary Treasurer to manage the tenant experience of all divisional housing.
● Provide tenant customer service, including managing the interactive housing app (Buildium).
● Ensure repairs are made to housing units promptly.
● Work with Maintenance and/or contractors to ensure housing repairs are carried out efficiently.
● Assist in managing the housing budget.
● Participate in reviewing housing procedures.
● Authorize invoices for housing expenditures.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
● Ensure check-ins and check-outs are completed in a timely manner.
● Schedule and complete housing inspections.
● Ensure housing leases are current for all residences.
● Conduct accommodation inspection reports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
● Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
● Working knowledge of database management and the ability to manage our primary software application/processes.
● Familiarity with the Government of Alberta Residential Tenancies Act.
● Experience with the tendering process in a public service agency setting.
