Seasonal-Long Lake Ski Area
Thorhild County is seeking suitable individuals to for the following positions for the 2023/2024:
• Rental Shop (technicians & cashier)
• Lift Operators
• Cafeteria (Cooks & Cashier)
• Ski Instructors
• Snowboard Instructors
Qualifications required:
• Physical ability to sit or stand for long periods and to perform a variety of manual tasks (lifting, squatting, bending, twisting and climbing).
• Some positions are performed with exposure to the outdoor elements.
• Successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Records Check, Driver’s Abstract, and a Fitness to Work Assessment
• Standard First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
Positions included within the scope of the County’s unionized setting (IUOE Local 955). Pay range is ($20.39-$24.47) for these positions. Hours of work will vary. Must be available to work weekends. Current employees of Thorhild County fulfilling the requirements essential to this position shall be considered for this position.
