Kindle here! I'm a young dog, just over a year old who is quite nervous around people. My foster mom has been feeding me out of her hand and it is worth being touched by her to get food so she thinks if I have a patient new family, I should bond and learn to trust them. I am very smart and treat motivated which is a great training tool. Due to my nervousness around people, I would do best in an older child/adult only home. I am tentative with going into the house so best that I have a fenced yard. I do very well meeting other dogs. I haven't been around any of those cat things yet so not sure what I think of them. Dogs though, I prefer them much more than people. My foster mom thinks I would be best in a home with a confident dog as I follow her two indoors and take their lead on most things. I am not house trained yet and can have accidents when I am nervous so better kept off rugs and hardwood until I gain more confidence. I am still settling in so won't be available to go to my new home quite yet, but watch for updates as I learn that people aren't so bad.
