Hello, I'm Pebbles and I am looking for a new home!
Animal Type: Dog
Approximate Date of Birth: June 28, 2020
Breed: Mixed breed (large)
Intake Date: Feb. 19, 2021
Hi! I'm Pebbles. I am a young, large girl at 60 pounds already and about eight months old. My foster mom calls me a floofy floof. I have only been in care a couple of days now and do well with my canine companions in the house, but have some nervousness meeting new dogs. I tend to calm down after the initial excitement, but will need someone to keep a close eye on me as my mom thinks my reactions are fear driven and may be a testament to previous dog encounters. I am still getting used to the fact that I have a steady supply of food, so I can get a little nasty with the other dogs when it is feeding time. I do best having my own space for now to eat. I am quite content outdoors but would need a fenced yard to keep me from wandering. I am getting used to the great indoors and can proudly say I haven't had one accident inside. I will require training to help build my confidence into a positive, playful puppy. If I do not get proper socialization and training, I have the potential to become a not so dog friendly dog in the future.
