***Very high energy *** Requires a home where someone is around most of the day ****

I'm Pickle! I am 1.5 years old and can't wait to find a forever home! I am a very playful and affectionate pup in search of someone to love me and let me snuggle on the human bed. I have lots of energy to play but am equally happy having a lazy morning nap or chewing on a toy. My foster home has two larger dogs whom I LOVE and chase around in the yard for hours as well as a cat who likes to keep to herself, so I respect her space. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was scared by all the strange noises and places. I am starting to get more comfortable but I am still nervous getting into the car, having a bath, and being left alone. I've been on some walks and the world is super interesting. I pull on my leash because I am excited to sniff everything, and my foster family has allowed me to take my time and smell the roses. I haven't had any accidents in my current house but may need guidance if you have carpet as I have not encountered any in my foster home and I hear sometimes it feels like grass. I really don't like getting into my crate, but I'm okay once I am in for the night as long as my people are around. I do not like being left alone and I will need a home who can help me work through this and build my confidence. I would love for my new home to have another dog to play with me and teach me the ropes however I am very protective of food and treats so if I have a dog sibling in my new home, I will need my family to be careful not to put us in situations where we won't get along. I like to play pretty rambunctiously, so a dog that matches my play style would be good. If there isn't a dog at home to be besties with, I hope I can make other friends and have regular play dates with them. I can be very timid, so I will do best in a home without small children. They make weird noises and sudden movements which are scary! I can't wait to meet my forever family!
