HI'm Stardust. I'm a very affectionate puppy and love people. I may be destined to be a lapdog as I'm not shy about asking for a hug or crawling on to your lap to snuggle. But don't be fooled — there's plenty of puppy mayhem in me. I'm a bit on the shy side, and hesitant around other dogs. It took me longer to warm up to playing with the resident dog here, but I join in the chasing and roughhousing now. I like stuffed toys, but won't challenge my sister if she takes it from me. I have a short, thick, tri-colour coat. I weigh about 30 lbs and a little more stocky. I sleep through the night in a crate and I am housetrained. I'm looking for a family of my own that can be patient and teach me a few more manners and a few tricks too! I'd like to have a confident male dog in the family to help me gain some confidence. My sister Ziggy and I came to SCARS together and she has since been adopted. There are a few things you should know about me right off the bat. There seems to have been a mistake made at the eye station on the puppy assembly line. Two pairs of eyes were mixed up, and my sister and I were put together with one brown and one blue eye each. We've relied on one another for all of our young lives, so please know we are going to miss each other when we go to our forever home. We've lived alone long enough that we have a few habits that need work. We gobble our food. It will take some time before we know that our next meal is secure. I have a bowl that's called a puzzle bowl, which has really helped me slow down while eating. I also jump up, especially if I think you're holding food. I have been caught putting my paws on the counter if I think there's food there. Are you looking for a sweet, loving pup to join your family? Do I sound like a perfect match for you? Are you ready to help me become a rock star?
