Okay peeps, hold onto your hats … party hats that is! I'm Zander and I love a good puppy party, human party or any party I'm invited to! If you have an active household with a dog or two that love to run and chase and play, then I may just be the perfect addition you've been looking for. I require a large yard (acreage is best but not a deal breaker) as I like romps in the dog park or trail runs. If you're a jogger, even better. If you have some rowdy kids, I'd play with them too, as long as they're over eight as I do love to jump and need to be reminded of my manners. Although I'm rowdy outside, I do have house manners and settle in quite well for quiet time. As long as I'm exercised, I'm a good boy who knows his place. If I'm not happy about something I will bark LOUDLY to let you know! Once my human shows me the affection I crave, I quiet down. Once I'm fed I quickly forgive you for being two minutes late with my dinner, but seriously, try to be on time with my meals please! I am a Lab cross so feeding time lasts about eight seconds. Maybe a slow feeder would help with that, but I doubt it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my food! Being so food motivated will help you in my training, as I am very smart and need that mental stimulation that training gives me as well. Currently I am here at my foster home helping them dog sit a four-month-old puppy. I am gentle and harmless. If your dog is more assertive, I am OK with that too and will take corrections quite well. I'm a harmless, energetic goof ball party animal looking for a new pad to call my own!
