GRANDE CACHE, ALBERTA — An educational assistant from western Alberta who was charged earlier this month with sexual exploitation of two minors is facing more charges.

On April 20, RCMP in Grande Cache said 28-year-old JJ Lenin Butler had been charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and possessing child pornography.

They did not provide further details on the charges or name the school Butler works for.

Butler was released from police custody with conditions and he is scheduled to appear in court May 4.

Police say Butler was arrested again Wednesday on charges relating to a third person.

He has been charged with sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation and sexual assault.
