Federal election results

The seats in Parliament this morning look like this:

Liberals - 157

Conservatives - 121

Bloc Quebecois - 32

NDP - 24

Greens - 3

Independent - 1

With less than 170 seats to qualify as a majority government the Liberals must now either form a coalition (which is rare) or lobby the other parties for support on every Bill they want to pass.

Congratulations to Shannon Stubbs, the incumbent CPC, who handily won her seat.
