ROCHESTER - The Athabasca RCMP are asking the public to avoid 49th Avenue and 48th Street in the hamlet of Rochester while a heavy police presence responds to a call.
Despite the heavy presence, there is no threat to the public at this time.
Area residents are asked to avoid the area while police respond and to refrain from posting photos of the police operations until the incident has resolved.
An update is anticipated once more information becomes available.
