BREAKING: Highway 63 east of Grassland closed due to serious collision

Travellers advised to avoid the area while crews respond

Boyle RCMP are responding to a serious collision on highway 63 near Grassland. The highway will remain closed until further notice.

GRASSLAND — Boyle RCMP are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision east of the hamlet of Grassland.

In a June 21 press release, RCMP announced Hwy 63 will be closed to traffic in both directions until further notice to allow emergency crews to respond. The collision occurred near Range Road 182, nearly 1.5 kilometres east of Grassland. 

Details on the number of vehicles and the types of injuries sustained are not presently available. An update is expected once the highway is reopened.
