If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet with your local officials, mark May 11 on your calendar.
The Athabasca District Chamber of Commerce (ADCC) will be hosting its second annual Mayor’s Breakfast at the Regional Multiplex, where Athabasca Mayor Roger Morrill, Boyle Mayor Don Radmanovich and Athabasca County Reeve David Yurdiga will be on hand to answer your questions.
“Come and have breakfast and meet the local mayors,” urged ADCC president Nigel Satchwell.
Also at the event will be Alberta Energy Corridor (AEC) executive director Jodie Pruden, who will provide those in attendance with an update of where the AEC has gone and what it has accomplished as of late.
The catered breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. and is expected to come to a close at approximately 8:30 a.m.
Satchwell said he is, “looking forward to meeting and greeting local businesses,” and hopes several business owners and employees will be able to make it to the event, underlining the ‘networking’ opportunities the occasion is sure to provide.
The breakfast will be an informal affair, granting the public a relaxed atmosphere to speak with their elected representatives.
Tickets are available at JDR Insurance at a cost of $25. Approximately 20 have been sold thus far.
