Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries (Al-Pac) is asking people to avoid driving to the mill site while first responders continue to work on a fire that broke out earlier today.
In a 2:30 statement, Director of Stakeholder Relations and Sustainability Diane Smith said the company had responded to the fire, which has been contained to the mill site. No injuries were reported.
"To ensure continued safety, we ask that individuals refrain from driving to the mill site. As the situation is ongoing there are no additional details to share at this time," said Smith.
