BARRHEAD - Communities in Bloom has made their picks for the 2024 Best Garden Selection.
“Barrhead Communities in Bloom (CiB) would like to congratulate the Barrhead recipients of the Best Garden Project in Barrhead,” congratulated Shelley Batdorf, Communities in Bloom chairperson.
“Thank you to all of the folks that nominated them, they are truly deserving,” Batdorf said.
The Best Garden Project is sponsored by Scott’s Canada, Miracle-Gro, and Communities in Bloom organization.
There were six winners in the Best Gardens Project.
The Barrhead winners are Sid and Judy Schuman, Barrhead District Social Housing (Hillcrest Lodge), Sharon Pearson BDSHA, Hans and Violet Scheivers.
Harold McBeth and Devery Braucht, Brookside Village, Sally Reich, and Larry and Patsy Shrode of the County of Barrhead are winners in the Best Garden project.
Barrhead District Social Housing and Brookside Village were nominated because of the wonderful job the residents do maintaining their gardens.
The Best Gardens program winners received a sign for their yard from Scotts Canada and a Miracle-Gro gift package.
The community received a congratulatory letter from the national Communities in Bloom organization.
