The golden arches are officially open in Barrhead.
On Thursday (Aug. 1) the first Barrhead residents bought food from McDonald's.
“We want to thank the community for coming out and supporting us,” commented Gurpreet Takhar, manager.
“We are excited to be part of the Barrhead community and look forward to serving the people who live here.”
The Barrhead location will be open 24 hours a day off 49 Street between the Home Hardware and the Neighbourhood Inn.
