BREAKING NEWS-BARRHEAD - The Barrhead RCMP have concluded their search for two individuals suspected of stealing a vehicle in Edmonton and then Highway 651 near Range Roads 12 and 13.

Just before noon on Nov. 30, Barrhead RCMP issued a public alert through the Barrhead and Area Regional Crime Coalition (BARCC) asking for information about two males believed to have been responsible for stealing the vehicle, which was later involved in a single-vehicle collision in the area.

Police described the first suspect as being a male in his 20s of Indigenous origin, with a heavy build and a dark mark on his forehead. He was wearing all-black clothing.

The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately six feet to six feet, two inches in height, of slender build with no facial hair and wearing all dark clothing.

"Thank you to the public for any tips they provided," the release stated.
