The Barrhead community celebrated its annual Blue Heron Fair Days on Aug. 9 and 10. The popular event, organized by the Barrhead and District Agricultural Society, featured two days of activities, including a parade, a vendor market, a horse show and a cabaret showcasing the talents of Canadian country music star Martina Dawn. However, the true star of the event was the Wildrose Rodeo Association rodeo.
