BARRHEAD -On Sunday, a vehicle drove into the front of a building in Barrhead.
Just after 9 a.m., the fire department was called because an elderly man drove through the front of a building on 50th street.
Barrhead Regional Fire Services (BRFS) Chief Gary Hove reported there were no injuries, just damage to the building.
"He (the driver) hit the wrong pedal," said Hove.
The area where the car went through the windows was part of the building where the Tim Hortons is located, although the TIm Hortons was not damaged. The area the car struck is an abandoned space within the structure.
