Albertan nominated for Grammy

Airdrie's Kyle McKearney has been nominated for a Grammy award in the "Best Regional Roots Music Album" category.

Airdrie's own Kyle McKearney has been shortlisted for the Grammy award nomination in the "Best Regional Roots Music Album" category. This recognition is the most recent accolade for McKearney's landmark album "Traveler's Lament," which recently won a Canadian Country Music Association award for "Best Alternative Country Album."

On X (formerly known as Twitter), McKearnery stated he was thrilled with the nomination.
