The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a suspicious death on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation.
According to police, Stoney Nakoda RCMP officers were called to a residence on Stoney Nakoda First Nation in response to a disturbance at 7 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Upon arrival, a 55-year-old male was found deceased at the scene.
The death was immediately deemed suspicious and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit was called in to take over carriage of the case.
An autopsy on the victim has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Sept. 11.
