Lac La Biche RCMP say bear spray used on liquor store clerks during alleged theft

Lac La Biche RCMP are releasing video and images of a one of two women they say are wanted in connection to an alleged theft from the Great Canadian Liquor Store last Thursday night. Police say bear spray was deployed on two store employees  during the incident, which took place at at approximately 9:40p.m.

Several images and video of one of the women was captured on CCTV security in the store.

RCMP say two women entered the downtown store, with one grabbing several bottles of alcohol before deploying the bear spray and running out of the store to a dark-coloured vehicle.

Extensive patrols were made by the Lac La Biche RCMP, but suspects were not located.

Suspect description

  • Female
  • 20 – 30 years old
  • Medium complexion
  • Approximately 5’5”
  • Medium heavy build
  • Black hair
  • Black Adidas track pants
  • Red and white shoes
