Peter Opryshko and Shirley Stashko’s brainchild has resulted in many years of wonderful music in Athabasca.
What would it be like to invite all your friends over to your house and have live music? Well, that was the original vision, and it blossomed from there.
It all started in 1997 with the amazing Laura Love and her very rocking band. Since then the Heartwood family has continued to grow as Peter brings in some truly gifted musicians from around Alberta, Canada, and the world.
