WESTLOCK — Starting tomorrow at 8 a.m., 108 Street in the Town of Westlock between 97 Ave. And 99 Ave. will be closed for the next two weeks.

Town admin says residents who will be affected by the shutdown were given notice as early as May 1, and that others should try to find alternate routes while construction is ongoing.

For temporary access during the closure, residents can contact the town’s civil project manager, John Simcock at 780-307-8293.

Industrial traffic can still access the Westlock Terminals, Pembina Valley Trucking and Nutrien Ag Solutions from the east end of 108 Street.

“All construction timelines are subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances,” the town advises.

“Thank you for your patience and watch our website and Facebook page for updates on this project.”
