ATHABASCA - Buses contracted by Aspen View Public Schools didn't run today, and won't run tomorrow.
Due to extreme cold weather and wind chills, all bus routes remain cancelled for Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Temperatures as low as -45 C have been recorded throughout the region in the last 72 hours. They are forecasted to rise into the -25 C range over the course of the rest of the week.
Schools do remain open though, and the school division asks that if you do drive your child to school, to make sure they have entered the building before you leave.
