WESTLOCK - The Faye Lewko Memorial Clock, which sits at the north end of Main Street Westlock, has been temporarily removed after it was damaged following a nearby water main break last week.
The town says the removal is temporary and it will be reinstalled after being repaired and when the weather warms.
Forrest Lewko donated the clock to the town in the early 1990s in memory of his mother and it’s become an icon of the community, even forming part of the logo for the town’s centenary celebrations. Over the years it’s been periodically removed for maintenance.
