WESTLOCK - Traffic on Highway 18 on the west side of the Town of Westlock is being forced to detour today, March 16, due to work at the CN rail crossing.
CN crews are expected to continue work throughout the day — westbound traffic is being detoured to 97th Avenue then to 108th Street to pass the site, while eastbound traffic is being diverted to 108th Street then 97th Avenue.
"Please watch for and obey traffic controls in the area. We apologize for the inconvenience and lack of notice as the Town of Westlock was not notified of this event," states the town in a release.
