EDMONTON - The Alberta RCMP Operational Communications Centres are functioning normally and can still receive emergency 911 calls during the nation-wide Rogers Communications service outage.

All public RCMP detachment numbers are still functioning normally, though RCMP urge people to consult the online directory if they are having any issues connecting with an Alberta RCMP detachment (https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/detach/en/find/AB).

Alberta RCMP would like to remind the public that all Rogers customers with telephone service will not be able to connect with 911 operators. If you are affected by the outage, RCMP you to plan ahead for access to emergency services through another network phone, landline, or in person.
