BARRHEAD-Motorists are being asked to avoid a section of Highway 43 near Glenevis after a two-vehicle collision that has resulted in one fatality.
According to an RCMP media release, the collision occurred at about 9 a.m. on Dec. 23 at Nakota Crossing and involved a semi-trailer and car.
Westbound traffic is being re-routed and emergency personnel, including an RCMP collision analyst, are expected to be on the scene for several hours.
The RCMP will release more information when it becomes available.
