Club management and executives had asked the council for a letter of support for their application to the Community Facility Enhancement Program.

In a letter to council, manager Tracy Pess said the club wanted to secure a grant.

“We are hoping to have an estimate from the Barrhead &District Co-op on materials so we can start repairing our deck next fall,” he said.

At a recent Town council meeting, Coun. Roy Ulmer moved that the council approve administration’s recommendation that a letter of support be written. The motion carried.
