Barrhead Old Vets Invitational tournament

The hockey season in Barrhead officially came to an end with the annual Barrhead Old Vets Invitational.

The hockey season in Barrhead officially came to an end with the annual Barrhead Old Vets Invitational.

The five day tournament started on Thursday, April 9 and featured twelve teams in two seperate divisions (men and women) compete in a friendly, no contact tournament, in which the majority of the players are 35 years old or older. In the men’s division only two players could be between 30-35. The team’s goaltender could also be under 30 years-old. In the women’s division there was no age restriction.
