Anyone who was at the Agrena on the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 21 might have thought the building had major structural problems. That is because every 20 minutes the ice surface seemed to tilt in favour of the Barrhead Atom Elks.

From the first face-off to the final seconds, the Elks dominated their Stony Plain opponents.

After the first period the Elks were up by a score of 2 to 0 after goals by Brady Calihoo and Jett Parks, outshooting their opponents 16 to 0.

In the second period the Elks continued their dominance by scoring four unanswered goals, outshooting the Stony Plain team 14 to 1. Scoring for the Elks in the second period were Sam Mckale (2), Hailey Brand and Kai Stranaghan, after outshooting their opponents 16 to 1. In the third period the Elks added salt to their opponents, scoring two more goals by Mckale and Kyle Kleinfledt, outshooting Stony Plain 11 to 1.

Race Walker recorded the win and shutout for the Elks.
