Barrhead Flyer Colin Lovich helped lead his team past the Onoway Eagles in their final game of a peewee hockey tournament on Sunday, Nov. 29 by scoring three goals on route to a four to one victory.

At about the seven miniute mark, Lovich scored two goals in less than a minute and a half, allowing the Flyers to take an early lead.

Kaleb Timm added to the scoring with a goal late in the first period.

In the second period the teams held each other off the scoresheet.

Halfway through the third period, Onoway’s Dylan McCullough was able to spoil the Flyers goaltender Gideo Hall’s shutout bid by scoring his team’s only goal.

Although the Flyers won the game, it wasn’t enough for the team to secure a place in the playoff round.
