Even though there is still plenty of snow on the ground and spring seems a long way away, baseball season is just around the corner.
And with that, the Athabasca Minor Ball Association are holding their annual general meeting and registration night on Wednesday, Mar. 4.
The meeting will be held in the library at Edwin Parr Composite School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
It is highly recommended that anyone interested in volunteering during the minor baseball season attend as those that show up will be given the first opportunity to pick which duties to perform for the season.
As well, anyone attending will receive $20 off of the registration.
This year, only online registrations will be accepted.
Computers will be made available at the annual meeting and members of the board will be on-hand to assist with people with registrations.
