Not your everyday hockey game

It was all fun and games when it came to this sport, on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Barrhead Agrena. FCSS turned to the Barrhead Midget Steelers and a team of various businesses and people who work in the community, to get the crowd excited about toys.

It was all fun and games when it came to this sport, on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Barrhead Agrena. FCSS turned to the Barrhead Midget Steelers and a team of various businesses and people who work in the community, to get the crowd excited about toys.

The event was put together as a fundraiser for the FCSS Santa's Toy Drive, where families and businesses could bring in newly purchased, unwrapped toys to donate to FCSS.

The Barrhead Emergency Response team included EMS, RCMP, and local business owners, who all took part in a fun game to support the FCSS during the Santa's Toy Box fundraiser. The fun game ended in favour of the older players, 10-8.

Items gifted included toboggans, Barbies, dolls, and games.
