George Albert Armstrong
August 11, 1930 – February 17, 2022
George born in Peace River, Alberta passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 91 years.
He is survived by his daughter Bonnie (Kevin), Grandsons; Christopher (Kristyn), Cole and great-grandson Nate. Stepchildren; Bob, Rodney, Richard, Verline, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nieces; Bobby, Debbie and family. As well as the McNelly families of Dorothy.
George was predeceased by his first wife Julia, second wife Dorothy, stepdaughters; Marie, Phyllis, brother Edward (Ted), sister Beatrice and parents Grace and William.
Dad will be laid to rest at a later date in Grimshaw, Alberta alongside his brother.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Pembina Lodge and Smithfield Lodge of Westlock, Alberta who cared for and supported him in the latter part of his life.
