Edward Ernest Arndt
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Edward Ernest Arndt, late of Barrhead, AB. On September 10, 2024 at the age of 85 years.
He is survived by his loving wife; Anna Arndt of 59 years. Edward is survived by his brothers-in-law; Arthur Tomm, Gustav Tomm, and Edmund Dembinski, sisters-in-law; Jean Tomm, Inga Arndt, and Tove Arndt. Edward is also survived by his loving godchildren; Susan Rempel, Kenneth Arndt, Shirley Thompson, Eva Green, and Anna Beth Clark. Edward will be missed by many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Edward is predeceased by his parents; Albertina and Emil Arndt, brother; Oscar Arndt, Emil Arndt, and Arthur Arndt, sisters; Lilly Kadatz, Ella Anderson and Ethel Dembinski, brothers-in-law; Oscar Tomm, Rudolph Tomm, Edward Tomm, Leopald Tomm, Andy Anderson and Eric Kadatz, sister-in-law; Laurie Arndt, 4 nephews; Dean Tomm, Kenneth Anderson, Peter Arndt and Kevin Dembinski, 2 nieces; Agnes Angus, Gayle Dembinski and godchild; Erika Sader.
At Edward's request a private family memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Lunnford Cemetery with pastor Ben Wyatt officiating.
