Leokadia (Lily) Barton (Nee Szewczuk)
May 17, 1930 – February 25, 2024
It is with sadness that the family of Lily Barton announce her passing on February 25, 2024 at the age of 93 years old.
Lily is survived by her loving family; children, Diane (Garry) Blasko, Don (Shirley) Barton, Garry (Joy) Barton, Steve (Debbie) Barton, David Barton and Neil Barton; grandchildren, Chris Blasko (Chaymie), Joanne Lindquist (Dan), Lee Barton (Kristylynn), Heather Woodruff (Geoff) Lindsey Catherwood (Carl), Daniel Barton (Angela),Trevor Barton (Stephanie), Wendy Byer (Jared), Brad Barton, Mark Barton (Amber); 17 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Jadzia Szewczuk; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Lily is predeceased by her husband, Frank Barton; parents, Maksym and Marianna Szewczuk; daughter-in-law, Bonita Ferguson; sisters, Stefania Zylinski, Edna Hoyne; brothers, Jess Szewczuk, Bill Szewczuk and Mike Szewczuk.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday March 4, 2024 from Rose Garden Chapel, Barrhead.
Memorial Donations in Lily’s name may be made to a Charity of choice.
