John Stuart Bissell
October 1, 1950 – April 21, 2020
John Stuart Bissell passed away on April 21st after suffering a stroke. He was 69 years old.
John was raised in Athabasca leaving in 1982 to live on Vancouver Island. He loved sports, fishing, and an occasional trip back to Athabasca to play poker and visit with family and friends.
John is survived by his sisters Holly (Bill), Kathy (Brett), Maureen (Henry), and his brother Cameron (Christine). Nieces Shauna, Sara & Jennifer. Nephews Ted, Cam, Darius, Alex & Massi.
He was predeceased by his parents Buster and Donnie Bissell, sister Jackie Kerravalla, and loving partner Cathy.
Because of the Covid-19 virus and travel restrictions John did not have a funeral. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
