With deep sadness and love, the family announces the passing away of Dawna Blonjeaux after a short but courageous struggle with cancer.
Dawna was a woman strong of conviction, her family were the most important people in her life. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend. She had a tender heart for her little Louie and her cats. She loved researching the families Ancestors and has been able to collect and pass on a wealth of knowledge and information to the next generation.
She will be dearly missed by her son Brad, daughter-in-law Angie, grandchildren Darby and Brittney (Andrew). Her siblings Daryl, Dorrin (Ruth), Denise, Bridgette (Corey), Brenda (Florian), Barry (Karen), and brother-in-law Marcel. She leaves to mourn, many nieces and nephews that have nothing but fond memories of visiting Auntie Dawna.
She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Mildred, sisters Daylle, Dianna, sister-in-law Kay, and baby brother Milan.
A memorial service for Dawna will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rose Garden Chapel, 5326 48 Street, Barrhead, AB T7N 1K9.
