In LovingMemory of

Elaine Boisjoli

June 17, 1953 - September 18, 2024

With a huge hole in our hearts and

lives, we announce the sudden passing

of Elaine Boisjoli on September 18, 2024 at

the age of 71 years.

Elaine, formerly of Barrhead, leaves behind her

husband Gerry, her daughter and best friend Loreen

Gomes, son-in-law Mike Gomes, grandchildren

Talia (her angel), Teagan (her super star) and

Tanner (who could always make her laugh). Her family,

of St Albert, will carry on her legacy and memories.

She was predeceased by her dad Peter Oskoboiny in

2008 and mom Elsie Oskoboiny in 2020. She is survived

by her siblings Gary Oskoboiny of Barrhead and Danny

(Vi) Oskoboiny and family of Blue Ridge.

Elaine Boisjoli…

Loving, caring and generous to a fault. Loves flowers,

famous for her cooking and taking care of her family.

Feels compelled to give and give, anxious when she is

the centre of attention, joy filled in celebrating holidays

and birthdays. Sends leftover food or meals with family

and friends, buys too many Christmas presents, always

picks up the phone when Loreen or Talia call. Loved to

see sunshine in May, her famous garden bloom in July

and her grandchildren grow and blossom into adults

through the years. Shared her time, love, gardening and

cooking advice with family and friends. Is intelligent,

hardworking, creative and humble. A tremendous

daughter, a super wife, perfect mom, thoughtful sister,

extraordinary Gram and friend.

As Elaine never liked being the centre of attention,

in lieu of a celebration of life, the family asks that you

remember her in prayer with joy and loving hearts.

If you would like, in lieu of flowers, please make a

donation to a charity of your choice.
