BORLE, KEVIN LAVERNE
May 9, 1962 – October 18, 2024
It is with much love and heavy sad hearts we say goodbye to Kevin who passed peacefully at a hospice at the age of 62 after a short battle with cancer. Kevin was predeceased by his dad Joe Borle, 5 year ago. Also by his grandparents; Jules and Rose Borle of Belverdere and Laban and Mildred Keith of White Rock, who also homesteaded in Tiger Lily. Also, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin leaves to mourn his long-time loving partner Connie Roch Johnson, his ever-loving mom Caroline Borle of Barrhead, his beloved stepmom Loretta Borle of Barrhead and her family in Ontario, siblings; Shawna Holland of Waskatenau and Susan Borle (Rob) Metcalf of Kentucky, nieces; Orraya, Laticia and Hannah and nephew Troy, great nieces; Leyden, Nyah, Lydia and Amelia and great nephew Ashton. Also survived by Connies children; Skye (Christen) and Dax (Isabella), uncles; Jules (Dorothy) Borle of Barrhead, Mel (Mary) Keith of Hinton, Vern (Diane) Keith of Surrey, aunts; Rita Borle and Shirley Borle of Barrhead. He also leaves to mourn many close cousins, a fantastic circle of friends and soul brother Luc Bouchard and family.
Kevin was born in the Barrhead Hospital by Dr. Godberson May 9, 1962. His school years were spent in Summerland, B.C., graduating in 1980. His hobbies were bowling, softball, skating, swimming and horse back riding. He was a Cub and Scout and loved going on trial rides with his dad and cousin George. After trying several other jobs, Kevin became a motorcycle mechanic and ended up back in Alberta working quite a number of years at Heritage Harley in Edmonton. He also loved playing guitar and ukulele and played and sang and volunteered at senior homes. He also bought and rebuilt motorbikes and many instruments. Many times, he went by bike to B.C. and went across the USA.
He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
