Calahoo, Rose Mildred (nee: Bailey)
July 6, 1949 – March 4, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose at the age of 73 years.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Calahoo of 46 years; daughters, Rhonda Tomlinson and Robin (Dion) Calahoo, grandchildren: Sarah, Hope (Mitch), Storm (Jordan), Tracey (Laura) Calahoo, Shawn Calahoo, Jholeann (Matt) Green and Jesse (Tynica) Green; brother, Joe (Wilma) Bailey; sister, Karen Shelmerdine; brothers-in-law, Greg Dul and Larry Nelson; sister-in-law, Marg Bailey, and all the Calahoo family.
Rose was a hairdresser for over 50 years in the community and for over 30 years a loving foster mom, in the community and surrounding areas. She had thirteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren, whom she loved them very much.
She was predeceased by her son, Rodney Calahoo; grandson, Brett Tomlinson; parents, Tot and Delmar Bailey; brother, George Bailey; sisters, Shirley Nelson and Lynn Dul and her dog Tina.
A Celebration of Rose’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Busby Community Hall.
