FLORENCE CLOSE
Florence Close, 88, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023 in Edmonton. Flo, a long-time citizen of Barrhead was born on October 14, 1935 in Liverpool, England to parents Bill and Flo Love. She immigrated to Canada in 1968 with her beloved Rob and their family.
Flo was a master of crafts, sewing, artistry and laughter. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends alike. Holding her in our hearts are children Karen, Belinda and Robert (Laural). She was beloved Super-Gran to Kelsey (Jennifer), Jessica and Lillian, Joey (Chantelle) and Kate (Karey), Jaye and Wilson.
Predeceased by her parents, husband Rob and daughter Mandy, there is a heck of a reunion going on ‘up there’ right now.
A celebration of Flo’s life will be held at a later date. Many Thanks to all who supported our grief with messages of love.
