Duane Alan Dabels
July 29th, 1948 - November 12th, 2022
Alan was born In Barrhead Alberta July 29th 1948 and passed away on November 12th 2022 in Barrhead AB at the age of 74 years. Alan survived by his loving wife of 54 years Sandra Dabels, his 5 children Angela Morris (Brian), Richard Dabels (Carmen), Katherine Osmond (Mitch), Edward Dabels, Andrew Dabels, numerous Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother Lyle Dabels (Corrine) as well as numerous Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Frances Dabels, Sisters Myda and Lois Brothers Neil and Dann.
Alan enjoyed his retirement in Fort Assiniboine after working many years with Telus. The Fort Assiniboine area is where he grew up, spent his school years and met his wife Sandra. He enjoyed traveling around Alberta both for work and play, camping and fishing whenever he could, puttering around in his workshop making all sorts of things out of wood. He especially loved spending time with family, he was an active member of his Church, enjoyed researching family history and all the fellowship from his church community.
