Peggy Joan Pauline Evans
June 18, 1956 - December 25, 2022
It is with great sadness to announce that Peggy Joan Pauline Evans (nee Kiemele) passed away on Christmas Day in Barrhead Hospital at the age of 66 years. She leaves to mourn: her loving partner, Howard Saumer of Lac La Nonne, her son Ian (Krista), Howard’s children (Greg, Diana), her eight grandchildren in her blended family (Tabatha, Samantha, Nyana, Aidan, Sophia, Jackson, Quinn, and Brooklyn), her three brothers (Hank, Jimmy, and Robin Kiemele), and her best friend, Jan Palmer (Norm).
The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Visser, the staff in the Barrhead Health Centre, and Barrhead Continuing Care Centre (Keir Care) for the exceptional care and compassion that Peg received.
At Peg’s request, there will be no service. Donations, if desired, can be made in Peggy’s name to the Barrhead Continuing Care Centre or the
Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
