In loving memory of
GATZKE, Frieda
August 22, 1940 - January 15, 2023
With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Frieda went home to be forever with her heavenly Father at the age of 82 years old.
Left to cherish her memory and always in our hearts are her loving children, Joyce (Dwayne) Anderson and Ervin (Lisa) Gatzke; grandchildren who filled her with joy Paulina, Zachary, Paige and Ethan; and loving siblings Herb (Lea), Linda (Charlie), Paul (Theresa), and Rita (Steve), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Frieda will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Erna and Hermann Belter, stepfather Rudolf Belter, sister Edith, and brother Theodore.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Wetaskiwin Church of God (4407-56 Avenue Wetaskiwin, AB).
Thank you Salem Manor staff for the care you provided for our mother.
In lieu of flowers, mom asked that you pay it forward by doing an act of kindness for someone. Donations may be given to Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary (RR 1, Millet, AB, T0C 1Z0).
