GINES, Edward William Jr.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward William Gines Jr. Ed passed away peacefully August 16, 2021 at the age of 54.
Ed was born in Barrhead, AB August 8, 1967 to Buster (Edward William Gines Sr.) and Terie (Terie-Glen) Gines. Ed’s passion for life, his obsession with antique machinery, his great sense of humour and willingness to do anything fun made Ed the man we all knew and loved.
Ed was pre-deceased by his parents and niece Amber Hindman, and will be lovingly remembered by his family, daughter Kayla (Drew) Gines, Grandson Emmerson Utley, his four brothers, Wayne Hindman Sr. (Wayne Jr., Nicole and Jackie) Ron (Gloria) Hindman (Jacqueline and Alli), Glenn (Lindy) Hindman, Lyle (Sharon) Hindman (Amy), and Ed’s partner Pamela Triska. Along with great nieces, nephews, work colleagues and his many friends.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Thompson Construction Group for the special care and consideration they showed Ed throughout his battle with cancer. As well as the Cross Cancer Institute team and USC Norris Cancer Hospital team.
At Ed’s request, there will be no service or celebration of life.
