GREEN, ROMANIE GENEVIEVE (nee BORLE)
August 31, 1927 - December 5, 2020
It is with deep sadness that the Lister/Green families announce the passing of our mother, Romanie Green on December 5, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Mom lived in Salmon Arm, BC but formerly lived in Highridge, AB.
Mom leaves to mourn her 6 children; George (Betty) Lister of Dunstable, Judy (Stuart) Kaasa of Salmon Arm, Linda (Jerry) Pederson of Barrhead, Tammy Green (Tom Crozier) of Sechelt, BC, Glynne (Carol-Ann) Green of Salmon Arm and Shelley Green of Salmon Arm. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Romanie is survived by 1 sister, Isabel Hove of Barrhead and 1 brother Jules (Dorothy) Borle of Barrhead, 3 sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Mom was predeceased by her first husband Wilfrid Lister in 1955 and her second husband Norton Green in 1996. Also predeceased by her parents, Jules and Rose Borle, 3 sisters, Martha, Frances and Julia and 3 brothers; Alphonse, Joseph and Florry, 6 nephews and 1 niece, 6 brother-in-laws and 2 sister-in-laws.
Due to Covid there is no funeral at this time, the families will get together at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher Funeral Home in Salmon Arm.
