Lila Vera Harrison (nee Croskery)
Lila Vera Harrison (nee Croskery) passed away peacefully on November 23, 2022, at Barrhead Continuing Care Centre.
Lila was born July 11, 1940 in Beachburg, Ontario. She was the youngest of three sisters. The majority of her life in Alberta was spent in the Sangudo area. She then moved to Barrhead approximately four years ago.
She was known for her love of cats, and was talented at knitting afghans and creating many home decorations with needlework.
Lila is survived by: her sister, Gladys; nieces Katherine (Harold), Patricia, Sheila; nephew Scott; great-nieces and great-nephews Adam, Ian, Ashley, Lindsey, Matthew, Daniel, Joshua, Zackery, Laura, Jessica, Justin, Alison; great-grand nieces Lily, Clara, Delanie, Della; great-grand nephew Connor.
Lila is predeceased by: her husband, Bobby; her parents John & Marion Croskery; her older sister, Lois; nephew Billie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1 pm at Barrhead United Church on main street in Barrhead.
