HESS, ROBERT
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert Hess of Westlock, AB on November 13, 2021 at the age of 66 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Kimberley and Kathleen, two granddaughters Brianna and Kendall, Marilyn Hess, his brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his mother and father, Annie and Walter SR, his brother Walter JR, and his nephew Perry.
Robert was born in Westlock but grew up on a farm just outside of Clyde. He had a successful career as an elevator installer for many years. Although he faced many obstacles in life, he was always known to have a smile on his face. Friends at the Westlock Continuing Care knew him as the “Candy Man” always taking the time to say hello and hand out candy, and even when he was feeling at his worst, he always wanted to help others.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to the AHS Westlock Continuing Care Centre 10203 – 96 Street, Westlock, AB T7P 2R3.
The family wish to thank the staff at the Westlock Continuing Care Centre as well as a special thank you to Amy, Rachel and Rita. Your loving care and support for our dad will always be remembered.
